INQUIRY DASHBOARD

What is it?

The Inquiry Dashboard is a useful summary report within the Inquiry Insights suite of reports. This report will help you to identify any trends or opportunities around your inquiry numbers and values.

Viewing the report

The report contains a number of elements:

  1. An Inquiry Summary which helps to clearly identify trends around the number and value of your inquiries.
  2. A number of Top 10 charts which allow to you view your top 10 inquiries by:
  • Category 
  • Brand
  • Product
  • Sellers

For each chart, you can view the results by number and value of the inquiries. The report can also be filtered by a specified time period.

Tip: Select the 'Expand Chart' button at the bottom of any of the Top 10 reports to expand these out and explore beyond the top 10 shown in this summary view.

How should I use the report?

The best place to start with this report is the Inquiry Summary section at the top. Do you have a clear upward or downward trend around the number of leads or the value of your leads? There is a dotted trend line for each of these metrics to help you identify clear trends.

If you see a trend relating to these two metrics, then use the date filter on the report (to right hand side of the report) to look at your top 10 categories, brands, products and sellers over the past 3 months and ask yourself:

  • Have there been any major shifts in the inquiries on my site based on the Top 10 inquiries by category?
  • Has there been a change in the Top 10 products that have been driving inquiries? 
  • Of the products generating the Top 10 inquiries by value, are there any similar products at a slightly higher price point which we can put on the site to further drive this inquiry value?
  • Are there any new brands which are generating a large number of inquiries? If so, are there opportunities to stock more products from this brand?
  • Are there any sellers who are driving more/less inquiries than usual? If so, what could be driving this (e.g: do they have more/less adverts on the site, have they been offering a special promotion?)
